Operations Coordinator

Location: Oldham

Salary: Up to £26k

Permanent/Full time role

Metalis is working with a leading manufacturing and design company that specialises in creating high-quality products. We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role:

As an Operations Coordinator, you will be integral to the smooth running of their manufacturing and design processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

Handling incoming telephone calls, emails, and welcoming visitors to the site.
Maintaining and updating the production schedule, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Verifying that all design drawings for new Sales Orders are correctly filed and that the revision versions are aligned with the sales orders.
Sourcing and negotiating competitive prices for raw materials, components, and fixings needed for production.
Progressing and following up on purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
Creating, placing, and tracking purchase orders for raw materials and components.
Preparing and submitting month-end operational reports.The Requirements:

Any previous experience in administration, coordination
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, (and other operational software tools beneficial).
Good understanding of production processes, material sourcing, and inventory management.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.The Details:
