Accounts/Finance Assistant
Due to expansion, I am currently recruiting on behalf of my prestigious client, based in Wolverhampton, for an experienced Accounts Assistant.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts/Finance Assistant with Credit Control experience to join a growing company offering a fantastic employment package.
The successful applicant will need to have experience in Accounts/Finance Assistance, Sage or Xero, Credit Control and ideally Payroll experience too.
About the role:
* All aspects of credit control – proactively calling customers and issuing statements
* Query and discrepancy investigation and resolution
* Input data to invoicing portals
* Bank reconciliation
* Cash allocation
* Purchase invoice input and supplier statement reconciliations
* Self-bill reconciliation and management
* Queries on accounts
* Working within hourly billing
* Weekly costings
* Purchase ledger
* Control Account Reconciliations
* Discrepancy investigation work on ledgers
* Payroll
Hours and Pay:
* Monday to Friday
* Salary up to £35,000 - dependent on experience
* Company pension
About you:
* Accounts/Finance Assistance experience
* Credit Control experience
* Payroll experience
* Sage or Xero experience
* Level 2 in Credit management or ICM 3 in Credit Management would be advantageous
* Competent daily user of Microsoft Office and Excel
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to meet deadlines and targets
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
