Role: Senior Software Engineer

Location: On-site in Hyde with a 1:00 PM finish on Fridays. Head office is in Scarborough and candidates should be open to attending the office there periodically.
We are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer to join a globally renowned manufacturing company with a strong presence across Aerospace, Automotive, and Marine industries. About the Company
Our client is a global leader in manufacturing, providing innovative and high-performance products to key industries. They are known for their engineering excellence and commitment to quality, and they are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join their expanding team in Scarborough.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and maintaining frontend control interfaces for industrial machinery using .NET WPF.
Developing and supporting a field service application built with .NET MAUI, WCF, and Azure technologies.
Leading and mentoring a growing team of developers from a technical perspective, ensuring best practices and high-quality standards are maintained.
Contributing to the development of advanced industrial CAD software, with a focus on C++ and OGRE rendering engines (experience with these is desirable).Skills & Experience Required:
Extensive experience in C# development, specifically with .NET WPF and .NET MAUI.
Strong understanding of WCF and Azure for backend support.
Experience in leading development teams and providing technical leadership.
Strong working knowledge of VB.Net and Visual Studio
C++ and experience with OGRE rendering engines is a plus for CAD software development.
A passion for working on industrial and engineering-focused applications.
Knowledge of PLCs, servo drives, industrial robots, HMIs, etc is desirable but not essential.Additional Information:
The role is on-site because it will require hands on interaction with machinery and collaboration with hardware teams due to the nature of the business.
There is potential for national and global travel with this role depending on client demand
