Job Title: Sprinkler Engineer

Location: Leicester, East Midlands

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time, Monday-Friday

Ventro, Firntec and LivGreen are an exciting group of companies focused on fire-safety services and net zero retrofit. Ventro are looking for an experienced Sprinkler Engineer to install and commission BS9251 Residential Sprinkler systems.  

Key Responsibilities:  

Install and commission a BS9251 Residential Sprinkler Systems in line with current standards and customer requirements 
Effectively communicate with our Project Manager to ensure a full understanding 
Be responsible for the management and security of own equipment stock in an efficient and economical manner by determining stock levels in relation to work activities and ordering stock items as and when appropriate via the Project Manager 
Weekly reporting to Project Manager 
Promote the profile of Ventro 
Promote a clear focus on quality assurance, service accessibility and responsiveness, maximising client involvement and feedback 
Promote customer service excellence 
Understand the company’s obligations under the contract 
Ensure compliance with Ventro processes and procedures at all times 
Maintain a presentable image by adherence to the Ventro dress code 
The successful candidate will:

Experience of fitting CPVC Pipework and having completed a manufacturers installation course 
Hold a BS9251 Installation Qualification (desirable but not essential) 
Valid Sprinkler Fitter Blue CSCS Card 
Local to Leicester
DBS Check (Basic) 
Able to work on own initiative
