Area Maintenance Manager

Days based role: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours)

Are you able to galvanise the team around great maintenance activities, and effectively utilise resources to deliver improved safety, quality, and performance within a large production site? If so, Arla Foods Stourton Dairy has the perfect opportunity!

This is an exciting opportunity at our Stourton Dairy in Leeds, Arla's second-largest and most complex dairy site in the UK, producing over 700 million litres of tasty and nutritious products each year.

How you will make an impact

* Champion of safety and company culture, drive and own individual and area team performance.

* Lead the team through transformational change. Reliability engineer, M&E planner/coordinator, planned work technicians, shift engineers.

* Develop and implement new ways of working, lean data driven and reliability centric methodologies and tools e.g asset criticality, FMEA, condition based and precision maintenance.

* Own and improve area reliability strategies and asset care plans, and the continual improvement of their effectiveness and efficiency.

* Own, implement maintenance and performance measures, KPI, root cause, corrective, preventive, and proactive improvement action. Safety, quality, cost, delivery, motivation, planet.

* Lead and champion transformational change within the department, digitalizing, performance corridor, coach and develop leadership behaviours and core values.

* Own and deliver area maintenance forecast and budget.

* Develop and implement area improvement roadmap, to uplift reliability, uptime and performance.

* As one of Arla’s F14 global strategic sites, actively contribute to the global community Maintenance & Engineering network.

* Should be proficient with Microsoft office 365, word, excel, power point, power BI,

* Leadership experience with a fast paced, continuous manufacturing, regulated environment would be advantageous.

* Excellent communication skills at senior level, leading through change.

* Desirable HND, degree qualified in engineering mechanical or electrical discipline, SAP user.
