Our client are looking for a Band 7 Clinical Nurse to work within their Psychiatric Liaison team. This role is a full time position 37.5 Hours p/week

They are one of the UK's largest NHS trusts in the country who employ over 22,000 staff and are now expanding and looking to hire the right clinical nurse to enhance the teams capacity to respond to the acute mental health needs of inpatients at the hospital

JOB DUTIES

You will be working within the psychiatric liaison team which consists of a Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist, Lead Mental Health Nurse, and an Administrator. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments including risk assessment and risk management plans to patients who are referred to the team.

Support the existing team by utilising your mental health knowledge and expertise and provide support to staff in their day to day management of patients who show signs of acute mental health problems

Liaise with staff at other connected sites and external mental health services to ensure the safe discharge or transfer of patients to their local mental health services
