The Role:
The MTC are looking for a Business Development Executive to support MTC Training to achieve commercial and apprenticeship targets.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Contribute to the growth of MTC Training by facilitating and executing revenue generating activities across the training centres
Proactively approach and create sales leads from targeted perspective customers to support the annual sales targets and KPIs
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to provide world class outcomes
Develop a pipeline of customer engagements and opportunities that complement the core sales activities of MTC Training
Attend networking opportunities including conferences and industry events
Support account management activities and manage a small portfolio of clients
Conducting H&S Employer Premises Compliance visits to ensure all matters relating H&S and insurance are in place
Attending and supporting events both regionally and nationally to grow the MTC Training brand
Supporting other teams as required e.g. STEM events, Marketing
The Person:
The successful candidate for the role of Business Development Executive will have/be:
Knowledge of engineering and apprenticeships
Demonstrable understanding of the sales process and terminology
Competent user of MS Office and CRM’s
Financially literate and numerate
Excellent written and oral communication skills and confidence to give presentations to a wide variety of audiences, both internally and externally
Ability to communicate with key decision-makers at companies – up to Director level
Ability to speak a client's language, live and breathe their issues and priorities, and able to conduct meaningful and valuable conversations with clients
Excellent negotiation skills with proven ability to influence
Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure products can be delivered and understand what is being developed
