We are need a Sales Engineer, for a Mechanical Engineering company based in Reading.
The company manufactures riveting machines, press systems, and screw-driving systems.
We will consider candidates with specific sales or service engineer/application engineer experience, if you are a mechanical engineer interested in transitioning into sales, this could be the job opportunity for you.
Working time Monday to Friday site based, hybrid working options negotiable, The Salary is £35,000 to £40,000 Additional bonus
The area of responsibility includes:
* Technical support of the General Manager reporting directly to him
* Targeting customers for sales, services, upgrades, and new machinery.
* Carry out machine trials to select the correct machine for the application
* Draw and design riveting tooling to be able to carry out riveting trials
* Prepare a detailed trial report
* Discuss the machine trials with the customer
* Prepare a detailed quotation and present this to the customer
* Be involved in the machine acceptance trials with the customer
* Follow up on any after-sales requirements
Must have a clean driving licence.
