Job Title: School and Partnership Engagement Coordinator
Responsible to: Forum Manager

If you are passionate about Apprenticeships and promoting the benefits to learners, parents and carers, employers and stakeholders we have a perfect opportunity for you to join our team as a School and Partnership Engagement Coordinator. This is a hybrid role, which involves regular visits to schools across Lancashire, whereby you will be managing your own diary in conjunction with your line manager.

Main Purpose

Administer and deliver the Apprenticeship Support & Knowledge (ASK) project across Lancashire.

Coordinate and manage the Lancashire Levy Transfer Network (LLTN).

Liaise with and support the Lancashire Apprentice Ambassador Network (LAAN).

Perform delegated tasks as directed by the Forum Manager to support forum events and activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge (ASK):

Deliver presentations and run application workshops in schools and colleges across Lancashire to promote apprenticeships.

Liaise with schools to organise ASK events, ensuring contractual targets and profiles are met.

Assist the Project Manager with producing reports and returns to funding organisations.

Maintain the ASK-related content on the Forum’s website.

Collect and record accurate project data to meet contractual requirements and internal standards.

Perform general administration tasks to coordinate the ASK project.

Handle routine enquiries and phone calls in the absence of the Project Manager or Forum Manager.
Lancashire Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (LAAN):

Engage with the LAAN by sharing event diaries to help learners explore career options.

Provide regular updates to the LAAN through meetings.

Collaborate with the North West Ambassador Network, sharing good practices and data.

Promote ambassador attendance and share case studies on social media platforms.
Lancashire Levy Transfer Network (LLTN):

Manage website applications from businesses donating and receiving levy funds.

Facilitate communication between organisations to ensure successful applications and matches with levy donors.

Maintain a social media presence to promote the LLTN’s benefits to the business community.

Person Specification

Qualifications:

Educated to at least GCSE level with A-C (4-9) grades in English Language and Mathematics.

NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration / Customer Service or equivalent qualification.

Skills / Knowledge:

Competent in using Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of WordPress is desirable but not essential.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent presentation skills, particularly when engaging with young people.

Demonstrates a proactive approach in anticipating and meeting customer needs, with a commitment to delivering high standards of satisfaction.

Strong administrative skills, including handling and completing documentation.

Ability to create independently and manage a personal work programme.

Effective planning and coordination abilities.

Exceptional organisational and time management skills.

Special Requirements:

Possession of a clear enhanced DBS record.

Car owner/driver with valid business insurance.
