Warehouse Operative – Short Term Contract Opportunity

The successful applicant will be based in Deeside Industrial Estate at our Unit 34C site reporting to the Team Leaders and in their absence Assistant Team Leaders.

Tasks

* Pick orders as per allocated pick sheets.

* Pack and pre-pack orders in line with client SOP’s.

* Work on bulk stations to complete heavier orders in larger quantities.

* Sort orders into designated locations for shipments.

* Contribute to continual improvement and Health & Safety, within the warehouse environment.

* Cleaning and general warehouse upkeep.

* Use of pump trucks during picking and packing.

Requirements

* Punctual and reliable individuals capable of good time management.

* Communication skills

* Attention to detail

* Physically fit due to heavy lifting requirements

* IT Literate

* Previous experience with RF scanners desired

Training

* All training will be provided.

Contracts / Shifts Available

30 Hour Contract | Sunday – Tuesday (Fixed Days)

OR

40 Hour Contract | Wednesday - Saturday (Fixed Days)

During the contract there will be two working hour schedules. Normal and Peak period schedule. Peak schedule may be implemented for any promotional periods during the contract (with notice of change)

Normal: Rotating Shift times

* Mornings - 06:00am – 16:30pm

* Afternoons - 12:00pm – 22:30pm

Peak Period: Rotating Shift times

* Mornings - 06:00am – 16:30pm

* Afternoons - 16:30pm – 03:00am

Salary

£13.25 per hour

£150 bonus provided successful contract completion with good performance & attendance.
