Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

⦁ Oversee new product introductions into the Factory to achieve routine operation and consistent acceptable quality. Identify the critical process parameters and amend the process instructions for future production as necessary.
⦁ Attend meetings relevant to the project currently being worked on.
⦁ Assist in Process Validation of New products as defined in the agreed protocols.
⦁ Assist in special projects as instructed by the Product Development Manager or Supervisor.
⦁ Prepare development, pilot and full scale trials as appropriate to achieve new products and prepare reports of the work to document and enable Batch Manufacturing Records and/or registration to proceed.
⦁ Liaise internally with Manufacturing, QC/QA, Planning, Purchasing, Sales & Marketing, Warehouse and Finance.
⦁ Liaise externally with Raw Material Suppliers and equipment manufacturers as appropriate
⦁ Maintain and develop the DMS (Development Master Sheet)
⦁ Check BMR's
⦁ Check formulations of 3rd party manufactured products
⦁ Produce and Maintain final PMF's (Product Master Files) consulting with other teams such as Regulatory, NPI / NPD as necessary

Experience and Skills:

⦁ Educated to a degree level in a Science
⦁ Minimum 2 years' working in GMP or food processing environment
⦁ Determined and capable of self-development to very high standards
⦁ Able to demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt.
⦁ Very goal-oriented, energetic and tenacious.
⦁ Proactive and innovative approach to problem solving
⦁ Must be computer literate including word and have a good understanding of Excel.
⦁ Proven analytical and report writing skills
⦁ Past history of clear and precise communication between numerous stakeholders
