Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for experienced HGV CLASS 1 DRIVERS for our client based in Tamworth, Staffordshire.

Duties:

About The Role

As a HGV Class 1 Delivery Drivers, you will quickly become a vital team member, providing a first class delivery service to our client’s customers to encourage them to come back to them time after time. Efficient and safe delivery of our client’s products will be your main priority and as such, we need people with excellent time management skills who have the ability to engage in a professional and friendly manner with all of their customers.

Duties:

· HGV Class 1 deliveries and collections.

· Pharmaceutical products

· Daily vehicle checks

· Trunking/Multidrop

Experience Needed/ About You:

* HGV Class 1 licence

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph

* Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 Experience

* Maximum 6 Penalty Points (no DD, DR, IN)

* Over 25 years of age for insurance purposes

* Good Communication Skills

* Team Player

* Flexible Approach

* This role is subject to a satisfactory basic DBS check.

* This role is covered under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such you will only be asked to disclose unspent convictions/cautions.

Pay/ Salary:

* HGV Class 1 £16.00 Days

* HGV Class 1 £17.00 Nights

* HGV Class 1 £18.00 Weekend Days

* HGV Class 1 £19.00 Weekend Nights

All rates are Paye

Hours & Contract Type:

* Monday to Friday

* Weekends

* Day

* Nights

* Variable start times
