Dunbar Education is delighted to be recruiting for a Teacher of English on behalf of an Ofsted-rated 'Good' 11-18 mixed academy in Salisbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated English teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school.

About the Role:

As a Teacher of English, you will:

Deliver inspiring and engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
Plan, assess, and track student progress to ensure high levels of achievement and progress in line with the national curriculum.
Collaborate with the English department to develop innovative schemes of work and teaching resources.
Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop a love for literature and language.
Engage in the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

A qualified teacher with QTS and a strong subject knowledge in English.
Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4 is essential; experience at Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire students to achieve their best.
A passion for English education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
