Coastal Housing Group’s Extra Care developments provide purpose-built housing that enables individuals to regain or retain their independence through the design of the building, services and support on offer.

Working as the Scheme Manager at Ty Twyn Teg in Neath, you’ll be accountable for the day-to-day running of the scheme, which covers a wide range of responsibilities from maintenance and health and safety to community links. You’ll also be line managing the Extra Care Support Workers, Night Assistants, Maintenance Assistant and Cleaners, providing inspiration, support and guidance. You’ll be in a unique position where you will be able to lead and influence in an environment in which residents can retain their independence, individuality and self-respect.

To do this, you’ll need to balance a varied workload with the needs of the scheme, liaising with community groups and service providers to make sure that our residents enjoy a joined-up approach to their support, care and tenancy. This position is line managed by the Head of Community Housing and forms part of the Housing team management structure. You’ll be encouraged to think and work innovatively at Coastal, which will broaden your skillset, introduce you to systems thinking and contribute to your personal development
