Your standard hours will be 8.00 – 17.00 with overtime paid for additional hours spent on site – the role is likely to come with the opportunity and requirement for overtime and varied hours of working.

Your tasks will include:

- Laying pool pipework from 50mm – 150mm/200mm. This will be a combination of outdoor work at all times throughout the year, indoors and within plantrooms.

- You will be expected to work off drawings indicating pipe runs with an expectation that you will assess and plan routes on site yourself as well as working with the Contract Manager.

- Layout and fit plantrooms with appropriate valve arrangements working off drawings.

- At the end of the week relay back to the Contract Manager the works completed, issues/road blocks on site and discuss how these can be resolved.

- Working to a weekly/monthly schedule of works to be agreed and discussed with the Contract Manager at the start/end of the week.

- Working mainly in a team of two to complete projects in a timely, tidy and efficient manner.

- Maintain and look after your vehicle. Ensuring the vehicle is well kept and safe to drive, filling in the monthly vehicle report sheet and booking in service works with the office.

- When required, assist the wider the installation team on rendering, screeding and tanking, tiling pool shells.

- Assessing, stripping and preparing pool shells post spray to provide a site report and ensure the shell is ready for the next stage of works.

- Although rare, when required, work the very occasional night shift to carried out site specific works which cannot take place during the day – often due to bathers/members of the public using the facilities.

- Assessing what materials will be required to complete the weeks work and discussing with the office team and Contracts Manager to get items ordered or collected locally

- Carry out the installation of pool chemical dosing equipment as required

- Ensuring you have the appropriate tools and equipment to carry out your weekly task

- Carry out pressure tests on pipe

- Ensuring you return any paperwork – pressure testing sheets, site reports, overtime forms and vehicle checklists in a timely manner.

- Adhering to safe practice of work. Carrying out your tasks with a safe and thoughtful approach adhering to job specific RAMS.

- Contributing to the team to offer suggestions for methods or work to improve and increase on site efficiency

- Proactive and motivated approach to tasks and challenges on site

- Take ownership of the projects you are working on to achieve a well-executed build with a happy client. Ensuring you leave site and plantrooms neat and tidy

- Keeping a close account for materials and equipment on site to ensure minimum wastage and unnecessary costs

- Carry out repairs and remedial works as required

- Run ductwork – on site training to be provided

- Assist in the delivery of large items to site. Check in deliveries on site to ensure all items are received as expected and reporting back to the office.
