CNC Setter Operator – turner or miller

Location: Derby
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Salary: £37,440 per annum (DOE)

We are looking for skilled and experienced CNC Setter Operator – turner or miller to join our client expanding team. If you have experience in CNC machining and are capable of producing high-quality parts to specification, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

* Setting and operating CNC Turning or / and Milling machines.

* Interpreting technical drawings to produce parts to specification.

* Running multiple Turning or / and Milling machines when required for ongoing jobs.

* Working on small batches of high-quality parts with a focus on first-time-right production.

* Identifying opportunities to improve productivity and increase output within the company.

* Contributing to process improvements to enhance productivity and increase output.

About You:

* Experience in setting and operating CNC Turning or / and Milling machines.

* Proficient with Fanuc based controls.

* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

* Self-inspection of work for quality and accuracy.

* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

* Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.

* Able to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
