Senior Site Manager – £20M Care Home New Build

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the construction of a £20 million, 5-storey reinforced concrete (RC) frame care home. This 85-week build programme requires a driven professional with a strong background in delivering high-value residential or care sector developments.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project runs safely, on time, and within budget.

* Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, driving high standards of workmanship.

* Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations (CDM, NHBC, etc.).

* Lead site meetings, liaise with the client, consultants, and local authorities.

* Monitor progress against the programme, proactively resolving any delays or challenges.

* Ensure quality control, overseeing inspections and snagging to deliver a first-class finish.

* Manage site logistics, materials, and plant requirements effectively.

* Report regularly to the Project Manager and Contracts Manager on site performance.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or No.1 Site Manager on multi-million-pound RC frame developments.

* Strong understanding of reinforced concrete structures, MEP installations, and high-spec finishes.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

* SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid certification required.

* Experience delivering projects within the care sector, residential, or commercial is advantageous.
