My well established Client is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting their IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, and security systems. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing company where you will work on diverse technologies and contribute to the stability and security of their IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain Microsoft Server environments (Windows Server 2016/2019).

Configure and support Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, and networks.

Administer Office 365 environment including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.

Oversee and troubleshoot general networking issues, including switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

Implement and manage security solutions, with Sophos Security experience being highly desirable.

Ensure the smooth running of the infrastructure, monitoring performance and reliability.

Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity exercises.

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate infrastructure solutions and provide escalation support for more complex issues.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

Strong experience with Microsoft Server technologies.

Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure administration.

Hands-on experience with Office 365 suite (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams).

Understanding of general networking principles (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).

Experience with Sophos Security products is highly desirable.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT infrastructure issues.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are an advantage.
