Our client is a leading provider of vocational training and apprenticeship programs. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Internal Verifier to ensure the quality and consistency of their telecommunications training and assessments.

The Role:

As an Internal Verifier in Telecommunications, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, quality, and compliance of the assessment process for our telecommunications apprenticeship programs. Experience in electrical installations is a bonus, as they will expand into this area next year.

Key Responsibilities:

* Internal Verification: Verify the quality and consistency of assessments, ensuring they meet industry standards and awarding body requirements. Conduct regular sampling of assessment decisions to maintain quality assurance across the team.

* OneFile Management: Effectively manage and navigate OneFile, ensuring timely verification of learner assessments.

* Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all assessments, feedback, and records are compliant with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the relevant standards and qualifications within the telecommunications sector.

* Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor assessor performance, identify any areas for improvement, and report on findings to the Head of Quality Assurance or relevant senior staff.

* Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies that drive improvements in assessment practices, learner outcomes, and overall program delivery.

* Electrical Installations: If experienced, provide verification for electrical installations courses, supporting future course offerings.

What We’re Looking For:

* Telecommunications Industry Experience: A strong background in the telecommunications industry.

* Assessing and Verifying Experience: Experience as an assessor or internal verifier, preferably in vocational education or apprenticeships. Holding an IQA qualification (e.g., V1, IQA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.

* OneFile Proficiency: Strong experience working with OneFile for managing portfolios.
