Do you get excited by implementing new methodologies you've seen in a recent paper in a team that puts patient care first? Have you wondered what it's like to support a team that gives everyone a voice, whether they're on day 1 or been with the company since day 1?
Then you could have this and more as part of a Cambridge-based bioinformatics team analyzing genomic and transcriptomic patient datasets. With trials ongoing globally, this team of 6 are interpreting WES, WGS and RNA-seq data from clinical samples in phase II trials.
Every day is a new challenge with this Series C funded therapeutics company who have made significant advances in targeting metastatic tumours, from using Python and R for data management, integration and visualization to implementing SnakeMake pipelines and building infrastructure.
You can expect to make use of your knowledge of variant calling and CNV analysis to support the teams' analysis projects with an experienced leader that will provide you all of the guidance you need to make use of your strengths as a well-rounded bioinformatician.
Here's what we want to see:
Previous experience working with patient data
Knowledge of public omic datasets
Ability to analyze and interpret WES/WGS/RNA-seq results
Passion for innovation
Based in Southern Cambridge, you can also work on a flexible hybrid basis with trust to get work done without thinking about office politics.
