Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Cardiff, Wales. This is a rewarding role where you’ll support students with various educational needs, helping them to thrive in a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in delivering personalized support for students with a range of special educational needs.

Provide one-on-one support for students during lessons, activities, and daily routines.

Create and maintain a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere.

Help students build confidence, social skills, and develop their emotional well-being.

Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to deliver high-quality education.

Assist in preparing and organizing classroom materials and resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

No formal qualifications required—we welcome applicants with a passion for education and working with children.

Experience in a similar role or working with children is a plus, but not mandatory.

Compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
