Job Title: Weighbridge & Compliance Supervisor

Location: Two sites across Doncaster

Pay: £13.25 per hour (PAYE) or £15.50 per hour (Umbrella)

Hours: 11 hours per day, 5 days a week, flexible day shifts.

Contract Type: Ongoing with potential for permanent placement

Excel Industrial is looking for a dedicated Weighbridge & Compliance Supervisor to join our client team.

The Opportunity:
This is an excellent role for a proactive and experienced individual to oversee and manage weighbridge operations at the Doncaster sites. You’ll have the chance to lead a team, handle crucial data management, and ensure the accuracy of all site activities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Verify lorry weight tolerances containing scrap metal.

* Accurately input data into the internal recycling system.

* Perform banksman duties and complete yard reports.

* Conduct sample testing and resolve any weight discrepancies.

* Provide coverage for weighbridge duties during staff absences.

* Coordinate staffing to ensure full shift coverage.

* Lead and direct weighbridge staff to maintain high standards and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

* Valid driving license and reliable transport.

* Proven experience in a weighbridge or compliance-focused role.

* Demonstrated ability to lead a team and maintain accurate records.

* Strong computer skills for file handling, email communication, and using internal goods management systems.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

* Dependable with strong attendance and time management.

* Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

* Strong attention to detail and administrative capabilities.
