2x Joiner With Multi Skilling (Level 2)

Hours: 37 hours per week

The Role
The successful applicant will undertake a wide range of duties whilst providing a responsive repair and maintenance/installation service to residential properties within Blackpool.

Their repairs team is supported by dedicated Responsive and Voids Planners, Inspectors, Supervisors, Managers and Customer Service Advisors so you will be joining a high performing, supportive team with a joint focus on team work and excellent customer service.
Skills and Qualifications
* You must possess an NVQ Level 2 construction trade skill certificate (or equivalent) in Joinery.
* You must hold a full, current driving licence, as a company van is provided (for travel to and from work and for use during work hours only).
* Experience of carrying out multi-skilling work, including tiling, patch plastering and plumbing.
* The ability to carry out skills outside of your specific trade area is necessary.
* Excellent communication skills along with a sound knowledge of Health and Safety are essential.
* You will also have the ability to work as part of a team and possess accomplished organisational skills to plan and prioritise workload, working to deadlines and agreed targets.
* Experience of working with Housing Associations and managing repairs is desirable.
*Please note, a satisfactory Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check (formerly known as CRB) is required for this position.
Makita power tools are supplied by the company; however you must have your own hand tools. PDA and personal safety device supplied, (with the company supplying the necessary training on the use of these devices).
