We're looking for a talented Grounds Maintenance Operative with a driving licence to work for our client.

Please note:  Whilst initially this is a temporary role there is the potential for the role to become permanent in the future.

The Role:
The Grounds Maintenance Operative role is field-based. Reporting to the Housing Supervisor and covering the Fulham region, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining the parks and communal areas in the borough.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
- Cutting lawns and hedges
- Strimming and litter picking
- Cutting branches and maintaining flower beds
- Experience in operating light plant and equipment and wheeled tractors.
- Experience of horticulture operations including planting, pruning and seeding.

The standard working hours for this position are 7.30 - 3.30 Monday to Friday.

The Candidate:
To be considered for the Grounds Maintenance Operative role you'll need to be able to demonstrate working as part of a team in a fast pace environment.

In addition, you'll need the following:
- Consistently punctual for all scheduled shifts
- Gardening and grounds maintenance experience
- Experience of using petrol driven gardening machinery

The ideal person for the role will be the following:
- Be physically fit as there is a lot of walking in this role
- Able to work as part of a team
- Punctual and able to work in all weather
