Temporary (circa 6 months)

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm - 35 hours per week

Circa £50,000

We are working with a prestigious business based in Shrewsbury who are looking for an Accountant on a temporary basis for around 6 months.

You will be responsible for:

* Prepare management accounts and complete reporting pack (3 organisations)

* Prepare management accounts for Fundraising charity with numerous separate funds

* Raise and post journal entries and be responsible for prepayments & accruals.

* Prepare consolidated reporting package

* Assist with the monthly actual to budget analysis and reporting packs (including investigating variances)

* Maintenance of fixed spreadsheet

* Completion of Government quarterly returns (i.e ONS)

* Any other tasks deemed necessary.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will need to have experience of working in a similar role. Ideally you will be fully qualified but this isn’t essential.
