Job Advert: Vehicle Mechanic

Location: Maidstone
Hours: 42 hours per week
Schedule: 1 in 4 weekend rota (8:30am to 12:30pm)
Salary: £33,000 to £38,000 per annum plus Bonuses & Overtime

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting vehicle inspections and identifying mechanical issues.
Performing routine maintenance and servicing on a variety of car and van models.
Diagnosing and repairing faults using advanced diagnostic equipment.
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
Maintaining accurate records of all work carried out and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Collaborating with the team to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient garage operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic, preferably in a main dealer setting.
NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
