About the Client:
Our client is one of the UK's largest Industrial and Commerce companies, operating with a network of over 75 distributors and sourcing products from over 120 suppliers worldwide.
The Role:
You will be responsible for inventory management and stock control processes, to ensure efficient operations and optimal stock levels. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, minimising stock discrepancies, and supporting the smooth functioning of our client’s warehouse and order fulfilment processes.
Pay and Benefits
Monday to Friday 9:00am – 17:00pm
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum starting salary
Permanent contract

Responsibilities
Supporting business growth plans by optimizing stock levels.
Control current stock levels and stock flow and organising stock count
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teams to meet demand, facilitate on-time deliveries, and avoid disruptions.
Maintain accurate records using Excel
Manage on system inventory, setting up child codes & stock adjustment.
Identify and implement strategies to improve inventory management and optimal stock levels
Daily Inventory status checks to ensure discrepancies are resolved on time
Raising purchase orders
Acting as a link between warehouse staff and other internal teams
Requirements
You must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in either an inventory controller or stock controller role
Be proficient in Excel
Have knowledge or ERP/MRP systems
Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities
