Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant – London – Up to £45k

A fast-growing supply chain / trading company based in central London are looking for a part qualified Accounts Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

Involvement in the month end close and contribute to the quarterly board reporting
Assistant with VAT reporting and compliance
Contribution to maintenance of full trial balance of a dynamic trading entity
Liaising with accountants in other regions
Liaising with other areas of the company including front office, operations, and trade finance to resolve problems
Contribute during annual audit from engagement through sign off and involvement with the preparation of the annual financial statements
Contribute to the annual budgeting process
Ad hoc assistance with routine transactional processes and treasury tasks including covering for other team members
Involvement in the preparation of various ad hoc finance presentations and reports throughout the year
Troubleshoot problems in accounting systems
Experience required:

Part-Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Ability to form relationships within finance team, net revenue desk and wider office to  ensure positive collaborative working environment
Strong I.T. skills including proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and Word
Previous exposure to multi-currency entities
