Job Opportunity: ICT & DT Teacher (Construction Focus) - High-Achieving School in Amber Valley

Are you an experienced ICT and DT Teacher with a passion for inspiring students? Our client, a large high school and sixth form in Amber Valley, is seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join their highly regarded team.

The Role:

We are looking for a qualified teacher to cover ICT and Design Technology (DT), with a particular focus on Construction. The successful candidate will also provide general class cover as required across the timetable.

* Start Date: ASAP until Christmas (potential for extension)

* Schedule: 4 days per week (no Thursdays)

* Location: Amber Valley

* Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

Candidate Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications

* Proven experience teaching ICT and DT subjects, desireable in Construction

* Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with the school’s high standards

* Flexibility to cover various subjects as needed

* Enthusiasm for fostering a positive learning environment
