£420.00 - £445.00 Per Week (Salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

Contract Dates: September 23rd, 2024  – Flexible start dates

The School and Role

Vision for education is seeking a Classroom Support Assistant to work with pupils between the ages of 3 – 18 years old within an Ofsted rated ‘Excellent’ SEND provision based in Mansfield.

The role requires a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic individual who is dedicated to supporting the complex behaviours of these children. A successful candidate will bring a positive attitude, a strong sense of empathy and a genuine commitment to helping children thrive in their educational journey. The suitable applicant will have had previous working with children and a strong understanding of supporting students with special education needs (SEND). This role can be very rewarding for somebody who wants to make a positive impact on Children’s lives. You will work closely with teachers to adapt lessons, provide one-on-one assistance and help the students throughout their daily activities. You will work as part of a dedicated and committed team that have a child-centred approach in all they do.

Requirements

The desired Classroom Support Assistant will have:

Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
Experience of supporting vulnerable children or adults.
Be able to adapt to challenging situations that can arise.
An ability to work as part of a team.
Experience working with challenging Behaviours.
Passionate and committed to making a difference in SEND children’s lives.
