Are you a passionate and dedicated English teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Rochdale, starting in January.
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering a love of literature, language, and communication. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of educators and be part of a supportive school environment that values professional development and student well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach English to KS3 and KS4 students (and possibly KS5, depending on experience).
Create engaging lesson plans and develop innovative resources to inspire students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Work closely with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning and best teaching practices.
Contribute to extra-curricular activities and events that enhance the school community.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Passion for teaching English and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is a plus but not essential).
