We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Bar Manager to join the team at a prestigious hotel in the Salcombe area, situated on the Devon coast.
You will not only oversee the bar but also help drive it forward with the help of the management team.
As Bar Manager the role includes / requires:
* Bar and terrace service, cocktails.
* Shift management, staff supervision and training.
* Cellar management, stock rotation, ordering.
* Cocktail training.
* Highest levels of customer service and interpersonal skills required.
* This location has a highly seasonal trade, with busy summer seasons and quieter winter months. Candidates need to be able to show efficiency and effective management in the summer and ways to assist the team in building trade throughout the winter months.
* Personal License preferred.
* Experience with SOPs and effective practices.
* Ability to be a problem solver.
* Positive outlook towards a fast-paced working environment.
* Experience with GPs, cost effective supply chain a bonus.
* Full company induction provided.
The salary for this opportunity of Bar Manager is given as £30,000 / per annum / plus a share of the tronc. Transport would be of benefit for this role due to location and shift work. Live in accommodation is a possibility.
