Russell Taylor are seeking a Class 2 driver to work for a client in the Brighouse area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over various distances while operating a 18t Curtainsider, 18t Box Rigid or 3.5t Box van. This role will involve nights out away from base when required.

As this requires a curbside drop, drivers will be expected to unload using a tail lift.

The Role

- Safely drive trucks and vans to transport goods to various destinations

- Load and unload cargo - each item is loaded on and off the vehicle manually

- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns

- Maintain accurate driving logs

Requirements

- Commercial driving experience is required

- Proficient in driving and maneuvering large vehicles

- Familiarity with trucks and vans and securing cargo

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries

- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules

- Class 2 licence with an in date CPC and Digi card

- No more than 6 points with no IN,DD or DR endorsements

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 weeks

Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
