Job Title: Full-Time Dental Nurse

Location: Surbiton, KT6

Salary: £15 per hour (with potential for increase based on additional qualifications)

Hours: Full-time, including Saturday mornings (2 or 3 per month) and Monday evenings until 7pm

Our client is a private dental practice located in Surbiton, KT6, known for delivering high-quality general and specialist dental care. The practice features four modern surgeries and a team of skilled professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. They utilize Dentally software to ensure efficient and accurate management of patient records and appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Provide compassionate and professional care to patients throughout their visit, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed about their treatment.

Clinical Support: Assist dentists during various procedures, including preparing instruments and materials, taking dental radiographs (X-rays), and ensuring the smooth running of the surgery.

Infection Control: Maintain strict infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and keeping the surgeries clean and organized according to health and safety regulations.

Record Keeping: Accurately update and manage patient records using Dentally software, including documenting medical histories, treatment plans, and appointment scheduling.

Specialist Support: Collaborate with specialists who work in the practice on different days, ensuring seamless integration of services and patient care.

Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, providing pre- and post-treatment care instructions and answering any questions they may have.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive working environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

Recognized Dental Nursing qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing)
Current GDC registration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with dental software, preferably Dentally
Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
Desirable:

Additional qualifications or certifications (e.g., radiography, first aid)
Experience in both general and specialist dental practices
