Cleaner

Pay Rate: Up to £14.50 per hour
Location: Russell Square, London

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and meticulous Cleaner who takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and order. This role is essential in ensuring our premises not only meet health and safety standards but also provide a pleasant atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.

Day-to-day of the role:

Perform routine cleaning tasks according to the established schedule, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
Ensure all areas are cared for and inspected according to standards.
Safeguard equipment and ensure there are no inadequacies.
Report any damages, deficits, and disturbances to management.
Handle reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
Manage stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations and be aware of any company-related practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a cleaner or in a similar role.
Familiarity with material safety data sheets.
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
