As a Secondary Academic Mentor, you will be supporting pupils who are facing difficulties making progress in Secondary, and work with them to overcome their barriers to learning and improve academic progress.

* About the Secondary Academic Mentor role

This Secondary Academic Mentor role will be a broad and varied post where you will specifically support in all areas of their Secondary department and be mentored by their inspirational Head of Secondary.

As a Secondary Academic Mentor, you will get to work across various Secondary lessons, run small group interventions focussing on bridging the gap in attainment with their low-ability learners and those with SEN, plus some 1to1 assistance to those who need it most.

You will work with children from all different backgrounds and abilities and get to observe some exceptional teaching practices whilst developing your own.
