Join a fantastic one form entry primary school in Islington as a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant

SANZA are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming one-form-entry primary school in the vibrant London Borough of Islington.

Role Overview

Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Islington, London
Start Date: Immediate
Pay: £90-£100 per day PAYE (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM), long-term contract until July 2025, with potential for ongoing employment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored support to KS1 and KS2 pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and mixed abilities.
Assist in implementing individual learning plans and strategies.
Work collaboratively with teachers and the SEND team to foster a positive learning environment.
Support pupils in both 1:1 and group settings to help them achieve their full potential.

Essential Requirements

Experience: Must have prior experience working in a school setting.
SEND Knowledge: Proven experience supporting children with special needs.
Commitment: A proactive and empathetic approach to working with children.
Passionate: Showing passion and enthusiasm in making a difference in young learners lives.
