The role will offer you the opportunity to work in an operational environment where you will be dealing with Health and Safety duties and a fantastic opportunity to progress a career within Health and Safety.

This role is suited to people who are looking to progress in their health and safety career and the chance to work in a hands-on role for a people-focused business where you will be stepping into a role where you can develop further within the manufacturing field reporting to the Health and Safety Lead.

Health and Safety Advisor – Newport – Up to £55,000 – Manufacturing

The minimum requirements for this role are

NEBOSH General Certificate
1-3 years’ experience within an HSE Role previously
Operational Health and Safety background (Manufacturing preferred)
Experience working with ISO 45001 and 14001
Personable, able to engage all levels of staff and work to collaborative solutions Key duties of the role include:

Operational Health and Safety support
Demonstrating experience with risk assessments
Working on improving the site HSE Culture
Helping with environmental matters when they occur
Motivate the current Health and Safety Team and lead by example What makes this a great opportunity?
