OPERATIONS MANAGER / GENERAL MANAGER REQUIRED TO RUN A LARGE SCALE WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING OPERATION

TITLE: General Manager – Waste & Recycling Production Operations

SALARY: £68-72K plus Car Allowance & Bonus

LOCATION: Grays

Previous roles may have been: Regional Production Manager MRF Manager, Metal Recycling Depot Manager, Operations Director, Wood Recycling Operations Manager, Biomass General Manager, Recycling Manager, MRF Production Manager, MRF General Manager

ROLE: General Manager – Waste & Recycling Production Operations

You will be responsible for a waste collections and processing operations
You will manage P&L and deliver a profitable operation and identify growth opportunities
You will ensure vehicle, safety and environmental compliance
You will ensure staff are trained
You will look to deliver improvements to safety, quality and production levels while minimising costs

EXPERIENCE: General Manager – Waste & Recycling Production Operations

You will have a soild background in the waste processing operations

You will be a strong man manager

Useful qualifications COTC / WAMITAB, CPC, IOSH, NEBOSH

You will be commercially astute and have managed P&L
