Registered Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) - Care Home - Challenging Behaviour & Dementia
Location: Derby
Salary: £19 - £22 per hour (£37,440 - £41,184 per annum based on 36 hours per week)
Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time available (Choose between 24 or 36 or 48 hours per week - 2 or 3 or 4 shifts)
Shifts: Day shifts, Night shifts, or Mixed (rotational) - Flexible options to suit your preference
Summary:
Appoint Healthcare is proud to collaborate with a leading national provider of health and social care services, delivering exceptional support to young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. We are seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) or Registered General Nurse ( RGN ) or Registered Leaning Disability Nurse ( RNLD ) to join our expert multidisciplinary team in a 60 bed care home for men and women with dementia and challenging behaviour located in Derby.
Role Overview:
As a Qualified Nurse in our 60-bed care home, you will deliver compassionate, patient-centred care while maintaining the highest clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
Providing tailored nursing care aligned with the latest best practices.
Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans and risk assessments.
Maintaining accurate patient records, both manually and electronically.
Leading and supporting colleagues with empathy and professionalism.
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.
Promoting a safe and health-conscious environment for all.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse ( RMN, RGN, RNLD )
Experience in mental health care, particularly with challenging behaviours.
Strong communication, administrative, and computer skills.
A compassionate, person-centred approach to care.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and teamwork.

Location:
