Our client is a Brighton based electrical firm with an expanding team and workload in the pipeline. They are looking for a Electrical Qualifying Supervisor for long term / permenant work.

* Salary: £40k - £45k

* Based: 4 days office, 1 day site.

* Brighton – East Sussex

Key Responsibilities:

* Electrical Certification: Complete and sign off electrical certifications from engineers on site, ensuring results are correctly recorded on appropriate certificates or reports and compliant with BS7671.

* Client and Management Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients and management regarding certification progress, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* NICEIC Certification: Produce and sign off NICEIC certifications and other required test data following work undertaken by engineers using Easycert software.

* Audit and Inspection: Ensure the business’s premises, equipment, documentation, and records are available for inspection by the NICEIC, and help oversee the annual audit process with the NICEIC auditor.

* Field Supervision: Meet with engineers in the field to ensure high standards of testing, identifying and addressing any non-compliances.

* Supervision Reports: Undertake QS inspection audits and visits for existing engineers, producing detailed supervision reports.

* Meetings and Surveys: Attend toolbox talks, site meetings, and surveys as required.

* Equipment Calibration: Ensure all company and sub-contractor equipment is calibrated and has valid certificates.

* Company Representation: Represent the company during site and off-site meetings.

* MS Office Proficiency: Demonstrate good knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

* BS7671 18th Edition Amendment 2

* 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection and Testing

* AM2 and NVQ Level 3

* Experience in inspection and testing

* Experience in certification
