Our client is a profitable, well managed, market leader in the print and packaging industry, with a reputation for quality and innovation, they are seeking an experienced sales account manager from the print/packaging arena to join their existing team.

They are looking for an experienced sales account manager, with the right skills, experience, temperament and friendly demeanour to join their existing team. Working alongside the Group Sales Director, the sales account manager will have an integral role in shaping the current and future direction of the company.

The Role

The sales account managers role is detailed and varied, and the right candidate will be given latitude to implement changes where they see fit and where the business needs and the duties will include but will not be limited to the following....

* Develop and implement sales strategies

* Identify and convert new business opportunities

* Target new markets within the packaging sector

* Continually monitor margins and ensure profitability is maintained

* Report on sales performance to budget targets

* Set budgets and growth plans

* Attend exhibitions and trade shows and be the face of the company

You

The right sales account manager will already know what is needed for the role......

* Experience in the print/packaging sector is essential

* Technical experience in the industry would be icing on the cake

* Motivated and self driven

* Exceptional communication skills at all levels

* Solid commercial awareness

* Proven track record

* Polished and professional

This is a remote role, the right sales account manager will be able to plan their days, whether that be at home, in the office or in the field, and you will be given full autonomy, there will also be the occasional European travel.

The package is commensurate for the role, excellent salary and bonus structure, vehicle allowance, private medical, pension contributions etc,etc
