Contract Administrator

Nelson Permanent Placements are proud to be working with an established Construction company based within Burton on Trent who work on small & large contracts around the UK.

Due to growth our client is looking for a Contract Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be supporting the both the office and operational site teams

To be considered for this role you must have:

* A construction background

* Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator

Package:

* Salary of £30,000

* Monday – Friday: 09:00am – 17:00pm

* Progression opportunities

Responsibilities:

* First point contact for telephone enquiries

* Management of PPE, Stationery and office supplies

* Support and administer contract documentation between the operational site teams, clients, supply chain etc.

* Source Materials and Plant, building and maintaining relationships with the supply chain, negotiating and setting up rates.

* Distributing Purchase Orders, working within contract budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to sites.

* Control of Hire Equipment.

* Contract administration and document control in line with Companies quality management system.

* Support contract managers, monitor emails, manage diaries and general support as required.

* Assist HSE Manager with site set up, site files, PPE, Site Notices, Operations and Maintenance Manuals etc.

* Maintain electronic workboard.

* Maintain Quotation and Contract electronic records.

* Source and book accommodation for out-of-town works.

* General administration and holiday cover as per departmental needs.

Requirements:

* Excellent telephone manner, helpful and friendly disposition.

* Experience within the construction industry.

* Excellent IT skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

* Able to work under pressure and on own initiative.

* Well organised and able to prioritise workload.

* Team player - willingness to be part of a successful team.
