If you enjoy more responsibility and ownership then the longer term placements could involve planning and marking. On supply, more responsibility comes with greater pay. The supply teacher (Barnsley) role is a temporary position with the opportunity to work with the schools across Barnsley. There is the potential for longer term and permanent work once registered with Academics.

Requirements of the supply teacher (Barnsley) role:

- Teaching qualification.

- Experience of working in the education and training sector (secondary schools).

- Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one).

- Flexible, reliable, and passionate teacher.

- Able to commute to the secondary schools in the Barnsley area.
