PPA Teacher (Upper KS2) - Primary School in Chesterfield

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PPA Teacher to join our primary school in Chesterfield, providing high-quality teaching to Upper KS2 (Year 5 and Year 6) students. This role is offered on a part-time basis, requiring availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the full academic year until July 2025.

Key Details:

Position: PPA Teacher (Years 5 & 6)
Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Days: Tuesday and Thursday 8.30am - 3.30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Part-time, until July 2025

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons to Year 5 and Year 6 pupils.
Plan and assess the progress of students in line with the school's curriculum and policies.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards across the year groups.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching Upper KS2 (preferably Years 5 and 6).
Strong planning, assessment, and classroom management skills.
