Our client is looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and accurate running of payroll processes. You’ll be involved in end-to-end payroll operations, maintaining high standards and compliance with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Payroll Compliance Officer with payroll operations, delivering high-quality service
Reconcile payroll payments to the general ledger and verify all statutory payments
Assist with system upgrades, developments and statutory compliance changes, ensuring user training needs are met
Conduct quality assurance checks, identifying and resolving service issues
Oversee Oracle timecard entries, manage off-cycle payments and address payroll anomaliesRequirements

Substantial experience managing payroll in a large organisation
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, taxation and national insurance rules
Proficiency with computerised payroll systems and data security
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
