Working for a well known institution based in the heart of Cambridge the role of Finance Manager will be to support the current management team to clear a backlog of work.
Working alongside the newly appointed Finance Manager this role will be focused on putting in place new processes to streamline the transactional processes.
The main duties are as follows -
- Assist with building and monitoring budgets
- Delivering and developing management accounts and reporting tools
- Support with the purchase and sales ledger invoices
- Producing journals
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow forecasting
- Calculate and prepare payroll information
- VAT returns
- Assist external auditors in the preparation of the annual financial statements
You must have proven experience in the above mentioned duties and have experience in process improvements, you must be comfortable managing your own workload. This role will be on a 6 month fixed term contract and you will ideally be available to start at short notice.
