Job Title: Shift Engineer

Salary: Up to £47,000

Location: Leighton Buzzard – Pension, Life Assurance, 25 days holiday & Healthcare

Hours: 6pm to 2pm or 10pm to 6am

We have a great opportunity to join a worldwide business as a Shift Engineer for a production facility based in Leighton Buzzard.

The Shift Engineer would be responsible for supporting the production team with a proactive service to enable production lines to run safely and efficiently, reduce downtime through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and continuous improvements – all while having a high regard for Health and Safety.

Key responsibilities for a Shift Engineer

* Engineering maintenance and fault finding on industrial machinery

* Onsite maintenance and engineering’s support for site assets

* Working on PPM schedules

* Troubleshooting systems

Essential skills for a Shift Engineer

* Rounded engineer with an electrical/mechanical bias

* Experience of working in a manufacturing facility

* Knowledge and experience of injection moulding industry

* Computer literate

* Compliant with Health and Safety requirements

* Self-motivated and able to work independently on maintenance tasks
