Purpose of the Role
With a growing client base, our client requires a new Technical Estimator to create and issue remedial quotations within business SLA. This role is suitable for either an engineer that is looking to move into a role off the tools or a candidate with proven experience in HVAC estimating. The role supports the service team, reporting directly to the Head of Service.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible and accountable for a large portfolio of client quotes.
• Review/translate engineer report to create new quotes.
• Use costing sheets to build quotations accurately.
• Researching material and equipment costs.
• Assessing the levels of risk on a job.
• Liaise with engineers to ensure quotes are prepared accurately.
• Issue quotations directly to client within business SLA. (3-5 working days)
Desired Skillset and Characteristics
The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to use a computer and main software packages competently. Be thorough and pay attention to detail at all times. Analytical thinking skills, a proactive nature and sense of urgency at all times.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment and ensuring a consistent high levels of customer service.
