Quality Engineer for a leading Chemicals manufacturer in Lancashire.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexible working hours).

Location: Lancashire.

Duration: Permanent position.

Salary: Upto £40k (depending on your skills and experience)

You will be involved in:

* Quality investigations (RCA, CAPA).

* Conducting training and development exercises across the laboratory, production and engineering.

* Reporting quality measurements against KPIs and internal auditing.

* Collating and reviewing data to make improvements to site operations and quality.

* Look at and implementing continuous improvement activities across the site and directly support the site quality manager.

What do you need to be considered?

You will need:

* Science or engineering qualification ideally to degree level or equivalent experience.

* Experience of Quality systems (CAPA, NCR, RCA, internal auditing).

* Previous knowledge of laboratory testing.

* Knowledge of lean & six sigma principles in relation to problem solving and SPC.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* If you have a background in process chemistry or R&D this would be a distinct advantage.
